Shenayde started her career at Carter Ferguson in August 2022 as a legal intern and is now a Solicitor working predominantly in our Litigation, Employment and Criminal Law team based in our Wollongong office.
Shenayde was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in May 2025. She brings over three years’ experience working on litigation matters in the Local, District, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. Her experience includes matters of debt recovery, property disputes, neighbourhood disputes, and business and commercial disputes.
She has also assisted many clients in NCAT consumer and commercial disputes, tenancy disputes and building and construction disputes, and regularly assists construction clients on security for payment applications under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999 (NSW).
Shenayde also focuses in criminal law matters, assisting clients with a varying range of charges. Additionally, Shenayde carries experience in employment law matters, assisting both employers and employees with matters of adverse action, unfair dismissal, bullying and redundancy issues, and utilising the Fair Work Commission to assist in resolving those disputes.
Shenayde is a strong and determined advocate for clients, known also by her clients for her warm and approachable nature. She has well-honed skills in defending her client’s rights and navigating complex legal matters with confidence and clarity. She prides herself in presenting her clients with practical solutions to complex and litigious matters.
Driven by a deep sense of justice and compassion, Shenayde combines technical legal knowledge with a client-focused approach, ensuring each client feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout complex court processes and legal matters.
Outside of her work, Shenayde is passionate about animal welfare and spends time rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. She is a vocal advocate for women’s reproductive rights and raising awareness around Endometriosis, issues close to her heart.
Whether fighting for clients or supporting meaningful causes, Shenayde brings strength, care, and purpose to everything she does. Shenayde is eager to gain her Masters in Litigation in the near future.
