Christine has served the community in the Illawarra and South Coast since 1978. Following her Law Degree from Sydney University, she started practising in 1996 and has continuously kept her membership with the Law Society.
She worked as a Senior Associate/Solicitor for a well-respected large local firm for 24 years mainly on Civil Litigation in their Wollongong, Shellharbour, and Sydney offices; as a solicitor for a boutique firm in Albury, and for a large well known compensation practice in Sydney.
With the opening of Gerringong Legal in May 2008, Christine started her own legal practice to help the local community with many aspects of the Law. Over her impressive career, Christine has worked in Wills & Estates, Conveyancing, Leasing, Family Provisions Claims and General Legal Advice.
As a South Coast local, growing up on a Foxground Dairy Farm, it is not surprising that Christine has served the community in so many ways over the years. She has been a member of the Gerringong Rotary for twelve years (and on the committee Annual Kiama Car Spectacular before Covid), a Director with the Kiama Community College for eleven years and was on the steering committee to re-establish a bank in Gerringong after ANZ left.
Christine enjoys helping raise funds, not only for the local community, but also for many overseas disasters and projects. Her other interests include volunteering for the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard, leadlight, gardening, music, travel and spending time with family and friends.
