Lucy graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Social Science /Bachelor of Laws in 2016 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia in 2017.

While studying, Lucy was awarded scholarships to study in Yogyakarta and Shanghai and was the recipient of awards, including:

  • the Lachlan Macquarie Chambers Award for Property Law, 
  • the Degroots Lawyers Award for Most Outstanding Student Wills and Estates, 
  • the NSW Bar Association Award for Most Outstanding Student in Criminal Procedure and Evidence, and
  • the College of Law award for Most Outstanding student in NSW for Ethics and Professional Responsibility.

Lucy lives in the Shoalhaven on Dharawal Land and is based at Carter Ferguson’s Nowra office. Lucy is passionate about the Shoalhaven community and the potential for social and economic development here. 

Outside of work, Lucy serves on the board of a local not-for-profit and can usually be found spending time with her young family, two dogs and four chickens or, with her hands in the dirt in her garden.

Lucy can assist with property & planning law, commercial (business) & contract disputes, estate planning and estate litigation.

Carter Ferguson established its Nowra Office in 2015 and purchased Robertson Lawyers from Peter Robertson in 2018.


Carter Ferguson purchased Colin Escott’s Berry practice in 2016. Originally located above Berry Veterinary Clinic, we recently relocated to 4/78 Albert Street.
