Alice graduated from Macquarie University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Laws (with honours).
Alice is well equipped to provide adaptive, practical, and clear legal advice across several legal areas, with a focus on Employment Law and Migration Law. Alice’s legal career began as an insurance defence lawyer for Australian and London based insurers. She acted on a wide range of professional indemnity disputes covering several professions including medicine, engineering, architecture, real estate, surveying, and accountancy. In her role as an insurance solicitor, Alice worked on large multimillion dollar litigation matters before the NSW Supreme Court, NSW Land and Environment Court and Federal Court.
Having operated in corporate insurance for over five years, Alice moved her practice towards acting for private clients and SMEs. She worked in Wellington, New Zealand acting for individuals and companies advising on employment law in addition to a range of litigation and commercial legal matters. Her employment law experience includes advising on unfair dismissals and reviewing employment contracts.
Upon her return to Australia, Alice continued to provide individual and commercial legal advice in respect of a range of legal matters. Over the past two years Alice has advised on hundreds of migration law matters across a wide range of visa subclasses (including exemption applications for Australians and non-citizens) as well as acting for and advising on matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Ministerial Intervention matters. Alice also advises employers in respect of their ability to sponsor employees from overseas to fill critical gaps in the local labour market. When she is not working, Alice and her family love spending time at their local beach and riding along the Wollongong to Thirroul cycle track.
